Support our Work - Help Us Keep it Wild
Deserts, mountains, eastern forests, alpine meadows, wetlands, prairie ... America's Wilderness heritage comes in many forms. We are privileged to have nearly 110 million acres of our wildest lands protected within the National Wilderness Preservation System. They harbor our most sensitive and endangered wildlife, preserve our clean air and water, and provide outstanding opportunities for solitude and primitive recreation found nowhere else.
